Knowing the basics of music theory will help you make a better connection to composition, playing your instrument, and becoming a better musician. Whether you are a composer, play an instrument, or an avid music listener, this intro-level class will give you a clearer understanding of music, so it all starts to make real sense, and you can appreciate and enjoy music on a higher level. We’ll cover music element basics, sight reading, key signatures, intervals, understanding scales, basic chord construction, chords in a key, improvisation, and more!
