An Introduction to Voiceovers

Prerequisite: You must be age 18 or older to participate. “Wow, you have a great voice!” Have you heard that a lot? Or maybe you listen to something and think, “I could do that!” Come explore the voiceover industry with a professional, working voice actor from Voices For All. Discover the current trends in the industry and how easy and affordable it can be to set up and work on voiceovers from home. In this 2-hour introductory class, you’ll find out about the different types of voiceovers and the tools you’ll need, learn through real life accounts of jobs your instructor has booked, and get an insider’s view of the experience. You’ll also perform a script and receive coaching and performance ideas. Your instructor will take notes on your reads and create a professional voiceover evaluation that will be delivered to you in a follow-up call after the class.
