Explore both traditional and unorthodox painting materials and methods (e.g., impasto, yupo, stains, fine art collage), and learn about some of the artists who use these methods. Each class introduces a different painting medium and includes a demonstration on ways of using it and a discussion and slideshow about the artists and how they use these materials in their work. You can either experiment with the material or work on individual projects for the class. Supply list will be emailed in advance of each class.
