NEW! Travel back in time with a driving tour led by a Pomona Historical Society step-on guide. One of the oldest cities in Southern California, Pomona is celebrating 100 years of heritage preservation. Start with a docent-guided tour of a prominent adobe to see how it appeared 150 years ago, then go on a guided tour of the Phillips Mansion, owned in the 1890s by the “wealthiest man in L.A. County.” Follow up with a docent-guided tour of the American Museum of Ceramic Art and its renowned Mettlach Collection, the largest collection of pottery of its kind in the world! Also, enjoy an included buffet lunch at Cal Poly Pomona’s Kellogg West restaurant, stop by the on-campus Farm Store to purchase fresh produce and local products, and top off the day with a sweet treat from a local pie shop. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring along a hat and sunscreen (a sweater or light jacket is also recommended). Availability is limited, so make plans to book your tour soon! ALL registrations are final, and NO REFUNDS, CREDITS, or TRANSFERS will be given. Price is subject to change. Tours depart from SMC’s Bundy Campus on time, so please be prompt. Parking is free.
