ID : 57827
« back to classes page
NEW! Prerequisites: Familiarity with Mac or PC and basics of Photoshop tools (selection, clone, healing brush, and layers). Explore how to shoot and retouch portraits. In a class that takes you through the processes step by step, learn how to set up portrait lighting using studio strobes or natural outdoor or window light as you photograph a professional model in a lighting studio. Then move into a computer lab--where you will have an individual computer and graphics tablet to work with--and find out how to use Photoshop to retouch your images with clean, natural, and realistic looking results. You’ll also pick up some of the “tricks of the trade” the pros use as you create a final photo ready for magazine publication or to hand to a client. Bring to class your DSLR camera with a 50mm-200mm or zoom lens. Camera must have synch for strobe connection.
